Congratulations on a milestone year!
It’s a significant year for the United States and the solar industry. The country is celebrating its 250th birthday, the U.S. solar industry has surpassed 6 million individual installations and, perhaps most importantly, Solar Power World is celebrating the 15th anniversary of the Top Solar Contractors List. Congratulations to all the U.S. solar companies on the 2026 List!
It’s nice to have that veteran status rightfully cemented. Joining us with more than 15 years’ experience in solar and the construction trades are 226 companies on the 2026 Top Solar Contractors List — and another 55 can claim over a decade in the industry. That means over 72% of this year’s List has at least 10 years’ involvement in solar.
That experience came in handy this past year, as everyone navigated policy headaches, tariff schedules and supply constraints. Only the strong and nimble survive, and the 2026 Top Solar Contractors List showcases the strongest names in solar development, construction and installation. Solar Power World is proud to celebrate those companies and share their stories here.
We’re excited to continue celebrating the solar industry’s wins during this milestone year. The headlines are already monumental — “Solar generation overtakes coal for first time” and “Anti-renewables administration can’t stop solar” — but we know there’s plenty more to come.
