XPENG Sales Soar 242%!

As I just reported, NIO’s June sales were up strongly year over year. The whole Chinese EV market has been going up and up and up, but NIO’s sales are up more. That said … XPENG has shot through the roof and is on the way to the moon.

XPENG’s sales rose 224% in June 2025 compared to June 2024! In Q2 as a whole, the company’s sales were up 242% compared to Q2 2024.

XPENG had 34,611 deliveries in June, and had 103,181 deliveries across the 2nd quarter, putting the company on track for more than 400,000 sales a year. Additionally, June was the 8th month in a row that XPENG had more than 30,000 deliveries in the month.

In the first half of 2025, XPENG had 197,189 vehicle deliveries, which is more than the company had in all of 2024.

XPENG had some other highlights from the month to share as well with its monthly sales update. “XNGP achieved a monthly active user penetration rate of 85% in urban driving in June 2025. Most recently, XPENG was invited to present its advancements in foundational models for autonomous driving at the 2025 Conference on Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition (CVPR), the sole Chinese automotive company to receive this industry distinction.” Interesting. It remains, in my eyes, that XPENG is one of the automotive leaders in self-driving or driver-assist hardware and software.

“On June 19, 2025, XPENG launched its flagship model, XPENG X9, in Indonesia. The Company also announced that the right-hand drive X9 model for the Indonesian market will be manufactured locally in July, marking a crucial milestone in its global expansion roadmap. As of June 2025, XPENG has entered more than 40 countries and regions worldwide.”

More than 40 countries and regions! XPENG is already in 40 countries! I hadn’t realized the company had already expanded that much. It’s still young and new in most of those countries, too, so there’s plenty of room to grow a presence, grow customers, and boost overall global sales.

I keep thinking that XPENG’s massive sales growth has to slow down sometime, and I keep wondering if this is the last month of super-powered growth. Well, this is another month of stunning growth, so it’s not slowing down yet.
