Small-scale solar system services company Otovo will now have a presence in Hawaii after an acquisition of PV Hawaii LLC is completed.
PV Hawaii, founded in 2016 and based in Oahu, provides solar repair, warranty and inspection services and panel cleaning for residential and commercial customers, and is certified across 10 major equipment brands. Otovo is acquiring the brand along with Mr. Elektro in Norway for a combined purchase price of $4.6 million.
Otovo will bring its Endurance AI platform to PV Hawaii’s local field crews and customer relationships, enabling faster service and real-time visibility.
“PV Hawaii and Mr. Elektro bring licensed, experienced local teams that strengthen how we serve customers, and they extend our platform into Hawaii for the first time while deepening our reach across Norway and Sweden,” said William (John) Berger, CEO of Otovo. “These acquisitions come with strong leaders that we can integrate into the management team. Leveraging our powerful Endurance AI platform, we are continuing our successful plug-and-play acquisition strategy that has helped us create the world’s leading provider of behind-the-meter energy services for homes and businesses.”
Otovo established itself in the United States less than a year ago as an O&M brand for the residential market. The company’s Endurance platform leverages AI to diagnose system issues and dispatch qualified technicians in real time. This intelligent network coordinates field crews, service vehicles and home energy systems to deliver rapid solutions. Real-time customer tracking ensures transparency throughout the service process, while smart routing technology maximizes first-visit resolution rates and minimizes technician travel time.
